In Ireland it’s easy to spend a lot of time looking down. Protecting ourselves from the elements is vital. Shielding our eyes from the rain and blasting wind is paramount, especially when it’s too windy for an umbrella (which is more often than not!).
So on those days where the rain and wind are quiet and the sun peeks through we all look UP. We look up and soak in that precious shine, and heat, and vitamin D. And it’s good!
We look UP, soak in the light, and everything feels a bit brighter.
Illumination is the focus this week. I really like how Cheri mentioned their interest in abstract and creative interpretations. That basically sums up what I aim to communicate on these challenges, and on this blog as well.
These were taken on the train recently. It was a very foggy, wet day outside and the windows of the train were fogged up inside. It made for some stunning views.
Now cobwebs and rain (and where I live rain is so very common that it’s just not positive) are two things that independently can seem ugly. But this one morning, these two things put together definitely made something beautiful to see!
