Thanks Laura! The place in the first two photos is Poulnabrone Dolmen. It’s an ancient portal tomb. It’s around 5000 years old. It’s older than the Great Pyramids in Egypt. Tombs and ruins are very common here. These kinds of tombs often have alignment with the sun and are quite intricately placed (often in alignment with other sites as well). Let me know if you want to learn more. I never get tired of this place. Ancient things mesmerize me.
